Picture Shop’s Pankaj Bajpai, SVP, Creative Color and Business Development, joins the ASC as an Associate Member Picture Shop SVP, Creative Color and Business Development, Pankaj Bajpai has been welcomed as an Associate Member into the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). Founded in 1919, the ASC has been advancing the art and science of cinematography for over one hundred years.
A veteran colorist, Bajpai is regarded as one of the top colorists in his field. Over the course of his career, he has graded countless high-end episodic projects including fan favorites Bridgerton, Goliath, Snowfall, True Detective, and Sex and The City as well as its spinoff And Just Like That... He was nominated for HPA Awards for his outstanding color work on Genius: Einstein (2017) and Olive Kitteridge (2014)
On joining the revered ASC, Bajpai explains “It is a true privilege to be recognized and invited into the ASC as an associate member. As colorists, our collaboration with directors of photography has evolved so much over the years and it’s been my good fortune to have worked with some of the very best. I am grateful for being invited and becoming a part of this legendary organization that has stood strong for over 100 years, The ASC.
