Picture Shop has announced plans for a bespoke facility in London’s Soho, which is set to open in Q4 2024. The new, boutique location will offer a technologically advanced environment to serve the needs of scripted clients backed by the exceptional global talent roster and workforce of the growing Picture Shop.

Envisioned as an artistic hub, Picture Shop Senior Colorists Jodie Davidson, Paul Ensby, Sam Chynoweth and Aidan Farrell will be based in the new facility. Alongside the color team they will be joined by senior sound mixer’s Gareth Bull and James Ridgeway. The new Soho location will also have premier accommodations for Picture Shop’s global talent on assignment in the UK.
The state-of-the-art facility will feature two large theatrical DCI 4K Dolby Atmos DI theatres, three 4K DCI theatrical Dolby Atmos audio theaters, four 4K HDR grading suites, and four 4k large online suites. The foundation of the Soho boutique rests on the most advanced and secure infrastructure with12g fiber connectivity, which will enable direct connectivity to Picture Shop’s global locations for remote grading and mixing.
Sheppard notes, “This facility represents the final stages of the integration of esteemed post production brands in the UK into Picture Shop, a process that began several years ago. Our focus on quality, our industry knowledge, and our flexibility in response to the demands of the marketplace has guided all that we have done. What lies ahead is exciting.”
The new scripted facility will be led by Picture Shop’s Charlotte Laing, Director of Scripted, Laing will report to Picture Shop’s Senior VP in the UK, Nick Platt.
Picture Shop locations in the UK include London, Manchester, Bristol, Wales and Pinewood Studios. Internationally, Picture Shop has locations in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and Vancouver.
