Supervising Colorist Peter Doyle is a trailblazer in color grading with over twenty-five years of experience and has worked on an extensive list of renowned projects including the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, 6 Harry Potter films, and the blockbuster Creed III. Doyle’s post-production career began as a visual effects supervisor and compositor in the mid-90s, which was very color and design driven. As a forward thinker, he transformed traditional film lab processes into bespoke digital methods, allowing for greater creative choice. His collaboration on Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring won the first Oscar for Best Cinematography using DI. Doyle also graded four of Bruno Delbonnel's five Oscar-nominated films for Best Cinematography. He credits his love and passion for photography as a big inspiration for his work over the years.
