Award-winning Colourist Dan Gill has over 8 years of grading experience and is based in Bristol, working across Bristol and London facilities. Dan began his career training with Head of Grading at Picture Shop in the UK, Aidan Farrell, across multiple genres including drama and animation credits, before specialising in grading Natural History and Unscripted projects.
Dan’s recent credits include some of Netflix’s most impressive nature documentaries; Our Great National Parks (HPA winner for ‘Outstanding Color Grading – Documentary/Nonfiction’), Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale, and Wild Babies. Dan’s accolades also span across RTS and Broadcast Tech. His talent for making colours burst from the screen whilst delicately navigating multiple formats is often noted by his clients
Dan works closely with his clients and is fully immersed in his projects from pre-production through to delivery. He also works closely with Filmworkz’ Nucoda, helping create unique project specific LUTS and ensuring workflows are efficiently established. Read more here.
