Walter grades for some of Hollywood’s most visionary directors and cinematographers. He delivers color-timing artistry and technical mastery for Oscar®-winning clients such as Francis Ford Coppola (Megalopolis), Christopher Nolan (Dunkirk), Peter Farrelly (Green Book), and Rian Johnson (Star Wars; Episode VIII - The Last Jedi). Walter’s photochemical roots, plus his profound under-the-hood understanding of the digital pathway, offer his clients the broadest and most exciting palette for their storytelling. Los Angeles based, but originally from Turin, Italy, Walter channels his renaissance heritage for aesthetics & science, with a passion for cinema, and a love of his craft. An Academy Member and Associate Member of the ASC, Walter is a consultant to the Academy’s Science and Technology Council, and an ACES pioneer. His talent and skill of process have attracted industry acclaim, garnering him various HPA awards and nominations.
